Offshore
An early morning check over the sea produced 200 Sandwich Tern, 40 Gannet, 10 Common Scoter, 3 Manx Shearwater, 2 Shag, 2 Arctic Tern and a Kittiwake.
Grounded Migrants
A few birds were newly arrived with 14 Robin, 4 Willow Warbler, 3 Wheatear, 3 Whitethroat, 2 Whinchat and a Spotted Flycatcher logged.
Diurnal Migration
A light movement produced 24 Tree Sparrow, 15 Pied Wagtail, 5 Grey Wagtail, 2 Siskin and single Yellow Wagtail and Tree Pipit.
Wildfowl and Waders
A Shoveler was amongst 60 Teal and waders included 24 Greenshank.
Miscellaneous
At least one Marsh Harrier remains and 3 Raven were the best of the rest.
Butterflies and Moths
A Brimstone and 2 Comma were seen.
