Early morning observations over the sea prior to the rain setting in (0700-0800) produced 158 Manx Shearwater, 48 Sandwich Tern, 47 Common Scoter, 21 Gannet and a drake Scaup.
Grounded Migrants
Grounded birds in the heavy rain involved 7 Willow Warbler and single Tree Pipit, Lesser Whitethroat, Whitethroat and Sedge Warbler.
Wildfowl and Waders
Sightings included 12 Greenshank and 9 Shoveler.
Miscellaneous
A Peregrine was the best of the rest.
