Grounded Migrants
A late Goldcrest was logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
Another late Pintail was seen.
Breeding Birds
Broods of Mallard, Greylag Goose and Canada Goose are starting to appear and 2 Swift were in breeding habitat.
Miscellaneous
The long-staying Hooded Crow remains.
Dragonflies
A few dragonflies were on the wing in the sunshine with 6 Common Blue Damselfly, 5 Large Red Damselfly, 5 Four-spotted Chaser and a Blue-tailed Damselfly seen.
Butterflies and Moths
Sightings involved 7 Common Blue, 6 Small Copper, 6 Wall Brown, 3 Holly Blue and single Small Heath, Mother Shipton and Common Heath.
