An early morning check of the sea (0630-0730) produced 106 Sandwich Tern, 43 Gannet, 43 Common Scoter, 7 Guillemot, 4 Razorbill, 3 Red-throated Diver, 3 Puffin, 2 Little Tern and a Manx Shearwater.
Grounded Migrants
Limited to 8 Wheatear, 4 Blackcap and 2 Willow Warbler.
Diurnal Migration
The first Swift of the year flew through.
Wildfowl and Waders
The pair of Gadwall remain and waders included a partial summer-plumaged Curlew Sandpiper and 105 Whimbrel.
Miscellaneous
The resident Hooded Crow remains.
Mammals
A Hare was a welcome sight.
