Offshore
A scan of the sea produced 30 Sandwich Tern, 29 Gannet, 8 Shag, 8 Common Scoter, 2 Little Tern and single Red-breasted Merganser, Razorbill and Arctic Skua.
Grounded Migrants
Limited to 10 Wheatear, 5 Willow Warbler 3 Blackcap and single Whinchat and Spotted Flycatcher – the latter the first of the year.
Diurnal Migration
A Tree Pipit flew through and 2 Hooded Crow were amongst a light corvid passage.
Wildfowl and Waders
The pair of Gadwall remain and a late Goldeneye appeared, waders included 62 Whimbrel.
Miscellaneous
The resident Hooded Crow remains and 3 Raven were the best of the rest.
Butterflies and Moths
Small Copper and Clouded Border are now on the wing.
