Curlew Sandpiper and Marsh Harrier

Early morning observations prior to the heat haze developing (0515-0715) produced 1050 Common Scoter, 38 Sandwich Tern, 36 Manx Shearwater, 23 Guillemot, 14 Gannet, 7 Puffin, 7 Kittiwake, 5 Razorbill, 2 Arctic Skua and a Little Tern.
Grounded Migrants
Two Spotted Flycatcher were newly arrived.
Diurnal Migration
Three Collared Dove flew through.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included a partial summer-plumaged Curlew Sandpiper.
Miscellaneous
The female Marsh Harrier put in another appearance and the long-staying Hooded Crow remains.
