Offshore
Early morning observations over the sea (0700-0800) produced 300 Common Scoter, 24 Sandwich Tern, 17 Gannet, 8 Red-throated Diver and an Arctic Skua.
Grounded Migrants
A slight switch in wind direction brought a few more new arrivals with 21 Robin, 7 Chiffchaff, 3 Whitethroat, 2 Willow Warbler and single Sedge Warbler and Spotted Flycatcher logged.
Diurnal Migration
A steady trickle through the morning included 220 Meadow Pipit, 200 Swallow, 45 Linnet, 24 Grey Wagtail, 22 Sand Martin, 14 House Martin, 8 Skylark, 7 Pied Wagtail and single Yellow Wagtail and Tree Pipit.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 2 Black-tailed Godwit amongst 1000 Redshank.
Miscellaneous
The long-staying Hooded Crow remains.
Mammals
Two Weasel and 2 Otter were seen.
Butterflies and Moths
Several Red Admiral were recorded.
